Freshly roasted coffee from Peru Chanchamayo

The Republic of Peru is located in the northwestern part of South America.

Its neighbours are Ecuador and Colombia to the north, Brazil to the east, Bolivia to the southeast and south, Chile to the south and the Pacific to the west.

The country is dominated by tropical and equatorial climates.

In the equatorial climate zone, there is one season, characterized by a lot of rainfall, and in the tropics, there are two seasons – winter and summer.

The coffee, produced in the Chanchamayo Valley with an altitude of over 1350 m, located about 200 miles east of the capital Lima, forms approximately 40% of the total coffee production in the country and is not accidentally named one of the best Peruvian coffee.

The yield is mostly natural, without treatment with fertilizers and pesticides, and the coffee is grown mainly in small family farms of small producers with a yield per crop per ton.

The most common Arabica varieties in the region are Caturra, Typica, Pache and Bourbon.

It is characteristic of coffee beans that after roasting they give density and quite a pleasant taste to coffee drinks.

We at Viking Roast Co, recommend that coffee be consumed both in the form of filtered coffee and as a pure espresso.

Used as an ingredient in the preparation of Late, Peruvian coffee gives an extremely soft, aromatic and pleasant taste, preferred by connoisseurs of this type of drink.
